A Legacy of Stewardship
This property holds a profound history, predating our family. It has been a sacred place for generations, home to the First Nations people of Wisconsin: the Menomonee, the Ho-chunk, and the Oneida.
Our Mission
At OurThunder Moon, we are dedicated to cultivating a thriving ecosystem through diverse and sustainable farming practices. We offer enriching farm stays and experiential learning opportunities, inspiring a deeper connection with nature and a greater understanding of responsible land stewardship.
A Family of Visionaries
Managed by Patti Schevers & Brad Berger, lifelong learners with a passion for nature and responsible stewardship, Our Thunder Moon continues a legacy of family farming that began in 1914. Since 2020, the pair have undertaken a comprehensive conservation restoration project, transforming over 100 acres of family land. This includes establishing vibrant wildflower and native grass prairies, creating three pond scrapes for waterfowl, and planting over 10,000 trees and shrubs to enhance wildlife habitat, restore soil health, and protect our precious natural resources.
A Place of Peace & Possibility
Situated in the heart of the Oneida Nation Reservation, just 4 miles west of Green Bay, Wisconsin, OurThunder Moon is a place where nature thrives and possibilities abound. We invite you to explore our website and discover more about our farm and the work we do.
Warmly,
Patti & Brad
