Our Colorado Mountain Dog, Layla.

After a series of sad situations on the farm, Max & Lemi both having passed on in 2022. We added a new pup to our farm, a composite hybrid called a Colorado Mountain Dog. We drove to the furthest reaches of Wisconsin and purchased her from a lovely sheep farming couple.

"The Colorado Mountain Dog is a livestock guardian dog specifically bred for small acreage farming and eco-tourism. Breeders select for dogs which tend to wander and bark less, and which accept unknown humans easily and without suspicion or hostility." -Colorado Mountain Dog.



We have loved her since we got her, she's been a great addition to our family.
