Sightings on the property today, with my copilot- Lil HC.
83F with a clear sky and gentle breeze.
Spotted the following;
-6 Sandpipers
-Many Killdeer (and enjoyed the curiosity of a new trio of killdeer chicks watching us intenetly)
-12 Canadian Geese
-1 Great Blue Heron
-Redwing Blackbirds allover with their partners and youngsters
-Dickcissel
-Red Tailed Hawk (being pursued by 3 Blackbirds from above)
-2 pairs of Sandhills (and 1 colt!)
-a demise pond fish in a very low Lake Simon
-and hundreds of Tadpoles taking a gulp of air.... a really near sightning!
